revamped

hello people!

My first blog actually designed to be read. Kinda nervous but going with the flow here.

I don’t know what it means, now that I have started blogging on November 1, all saint’s day. Is this a good or bad sign? I honestly don’t know.

Anyway, let me start of with a little bit of introductions: I am Lizette. In the netiverse, I am also known as Blizzie. A name that came to me by accident actually:

Flash back to the 2000s, I was creating my new yahoo mail account but Lizzie was taken (of course). I then paired Lizzie to other letters of the alphabet. Alizzie doesn’t really ring a bell. Blizzie on the other hand, works. In the course of ym and facebook, people have since started calling me blizzie – and it stuck.

That little story is kinda typical of me, I think that although I consider myself as a planning type of person (perfect for my job, wink wink). I kind of get myself into situations that I have to make things work. Funnily enough, that's an AE skill!

Ah, AE skills. I will reserve AE skills for another blog. Suffice it to say, AE skills come in pretty handy.

So now I am jumping on the blogging bandwagon. I am now one of the 89% of Filipinos Netizens who blog. Yay to me the late adaptor!

I am what you call a digital nomad. I am in my thirties so I actually know what it’s like to live in a world without a cellphone or the internet. When we used to do telebabad with our friends on our landlines. I’m sure loads of people in their 20s are now saying—eew, so old! I can only say one thing: YOU WILL GROW OLD TOO. Hahaha.

OK, so I guess this is the end of my first blog. I will leave you with my song for the day. I started doing the song for the day on my fb and twitter because music is such a big part of my life.

Because today’s all saint’s day, remembering those who are gone is great, but I think what’s more important is to cherish the ones we love who are still here.

Song for the day: Cherish, Madonna. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruISW3abrLk

I love the video by the way. Black and White makes it so arty. But really, the reason why i love it is the hot mermen. Enjoy today!
